Find Your Inner Artist @ Daylesford Inn

Art Workshop Sunday 27th - Monday 28th June

with Rama Oramira and Lynn Buddenbaum

The dual purpose of this workshop is; firstly to help you connect with and unlock your inner source of inspiration and creativity and secondly to expand and strengthen your ability to give this inspiration artistic expression.

Guided relaxation and visualisation is used to help you connect with your creative flow and tools and techniques, mediums and styles will be taught, discussed and experienced to help you find and develop your particular style of expression.

Exploring both colour, texture and a range of techniques, - the emphasis will be on the varied use of acrylic paints, however water colour, can be explored as well. Come and join us for a couple of fun and expressive days. We will be working both in Studio as well as enjoy a ‘Paint & Picnic’ outing in Daylesford if weather permits.

Times:         10 a.m. - 5.30 p.m. each day

                      also “Fun & Togetherness”, Sunday night for those who wish

Cost:             $80 per day/$150 both days - meals, materials* and tuition

                      $240 Live-in - accommodation, meals, materials* and tuition

Artistic Facilitator:
Rama Oramira, Intuitive Teacher & Artist with over 25 years experience. Rama is originally from Denmark and immigrated to Australia in 1987, she has studied and developed her art both at "Holbaek Art School" and at "The Liberated Art School" in Denmark. Rama facilitated her first "Colour Appreciation" Course in Odense, Denmark in 1982, and has since run this course both in Denmark and Australia. Alongside with her art, Rama is trained in "Personal and Spiritual Development and Healing" first at the Scandinavian School of Healing in Denmark 1983-84, as well as through 20 years of personally training by her late teacher Ananda Tara Shan. Rama has worked as Centre Manager for Healing Centres both in Odense and Aarhus in Denmark as well as in Bentleigh and Daylesford in Australia. She has taught healers both in Denmark, Australia and New Zealand. Rama has continuously run Healing Circles and offered private Consultations since 1984, first in Denmark and since in Melbourne and Daylesford Australia. She encourages students to both deepen their understanding of themselves as well as expand their tools and techniques in the expression of their art. As well as drawing and painting Rama also uses silkpainting, sewing, woodwork and felting as part of her creative expression.  

Guest Artist: Lynn Buddenbaum,
Local Artist, exhibiting in Australia and Overseas for over 35 years. Lynn paints from her local environs in the Spa Country of Central Victoria, Australia – and from her travels abroad.  Her body of work ranges from emotive watercolour landscapes and figurative pieces to colourful abstracted scenes in oil and acrylic.For Artist Profile visit: www.lynnbuddenbaum.com

  4:00 - 5:30: Painting continued (Lynn)

  6:30           : Dinner

  8:30           : Free time/”Fun & Togetherness” for those who wish

 

Monday, 28 June

10:00           : Guided Visualisation followed by painting in Studio

12:30           : Lunch

  1:30           : Painting continued

  3:00           : Paint & Picnic if weather permits

                       Alternatively – Afternoon Tea followed by Painting in Studio

  5:00           : Participants Certificates & Evaluation 

  5:30           : Completion
